Unlike the popular belief, recycling can be a whole bagful of fun. In fact, lately we have come across several examples of recycling that burst the bubble of the aforementioned myth. Take the case of classic Vespa scooters for example. We have witnessed how the scraps of old autombiles have been used to contribute majorly to a green lifestyle. In fact, recycled bike furniture as well as the reuse of aircraft parts to make real stylish chairs and tables have all been greatly appreciated.
Well, this furniture range just got wider with the vintage Vespa scooters adding their own special charm. The Spanish design studio, Bel & Bel has taken up the task of converting the discarded Vespa scooters and into real cool office furniture.

Most lounge chairs are driven by the human tendency for escapism, and by that loic the new P38 Chair from Owen Edwards is no different. Yet, we are quite taken by the creativity of this fresh furniture design graduate who has given us a great way to curl up like a baby and forget all our worries of the world. That is just what the rocker-shaped P38 chair lets you do thanks to its all ergonomic interiors.
The cocoon shape that appeals to our modern interior decoration sensibilities has been painted in high quality white gloss paint (the one that is used on cars) while the interiors have been done in black leather. The contrast is aesthetically very pleasing.

Lounging is a favorite leisure activity with many of us. Perhaps that is one reason why researchers and developers never really let go of an opportunity to incorporate new advancements in the already existing piece of furniture that we lovingly call the lounge. SMART Lounge is one such relaxation system that is based on a non-medical vibration system which provides audio and tactile stimulation to the mind and body.
Technology like Vibroacoustics (it is related to hearing sound vibrations through the body) has been used in the SMART Lounge to relax your mind and body into a meditative state. This results in a decreased muscle tension, lowered heart rate and blood pressure as well as brings about a deeper breathing pattern that calms you sense and keeps you in a good mood.

Oh, don’t we always wish life was a bed of roses? Now, that might be a little too much to ask for. In that case, how does a chair full of petals sound to you for a consolation? Welcome Tokujin Yoshioka’s ‘Bouquet Chair’. As one would expect anything with flowers to be romantic, this ones too falls in the same category.
A rather sentimental piece of furniture, the bouquet chair has hand-folded Alcantara fabric petals cover the simple egg-shaped shell on top sewn with a lot of care and patience. The slim base of this stool like chair is structured in lacquered steel. The best part about this chair is that even after one has sat in it, the petals resume original shape.
