You can tell a lot about a man by the shoes he wears. And the impression is going to be a pretty strong one (in a good way, of course) if he is wearing one of ECCO’s fashionable creations, we think. The brand has given quite a few delicious footsie options to avid golfers in the past. And living up to its reputation, once again it has something that other brands will have a tough time matching up with. The new Premium 109 collection is exclusive to say the least.
This limited edition has quite an impressive range of croc skin golf shoes that have been made to order by extremely skilled and talented artisans at the company owned facilities. A very unique process of production involves the latest in technologies and the best in professional expertise.

The men love Duncan Quinn, in a totally not-so-gay manner. Well, the New York based menswear designer brand has indeed introduced the tough sex to a more fun and metrosexual way of dressing. After all, wasn’t the Savile Row with a slight twist togs a better choice for Sean Combs and alternate rockers Green Day, just to name a few! And now, DQ is quite proud to launch its new line of silk ties with stylish gangster motifs to offer a great completion to the winter fashion sense in men.
The picture above shows some ties that draw inspiration from Russian prison tattoos. Aren’t you reminded of Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises? Well, we are. Each of these ties have been made from 100% pure handwoven silk made in England. The cutting, stitching and finishing is progressed by hand (again) in New York City.

Golf may be the game of the Richie Richs today but in the days gone by, it was chess (hands down) that mainly defined the leisure time of the Royalty and the intellectuals. The limited edition lacquered chess sets from Japan Brand deserve a respectable place in your uber-rich house for it exudes such a charm that it should not get anything less!
These unqiue design patterns have been created by a New York designer, Alexander Gelman. Next time you spot one of the hottest eye candies around climbing out of that extremely hot Ferrari, we suggest you’d take a look at what his feet are wearing. You bet on it, it will be Tod’s. The Italian shoemakers friendship with the exotic car brand goes way back. So much so that the two are almost synonymous to each other. Now, that could be a possible consequence of the fact that Ferrari’s chairman sits on the board of Tod’s. We are not sure. It’s just speculation.
The companies’ reps tell us that the two kindred spirits have joined hands to create an exclusive line of driving mocassins that car enthusiasts will have a hard time resisting. The Tod’s for Ferrari line consists of three models that go by the names – the Lecetto with laces, Lacetto Tubi GT with tassels and the Mascherina Griglia with a grille of the iconic 250 GTO emblem. The first one comes in colors red and blue while the latter two stick to black and brown suede.

The rags (meant only figuratively here) to riches story will have another real life incident added to its list of anecdotes. Latest buzz in the news world tells us that an extremely lucky and ignorant British family had the first edition of Charles Darwin’s the ‘Origin of Species’ eating dust on their bookshelf. Well, they just happened to see a picture of the book’s spine somewhere, which led them pondering, “Don’t we have this at home?”
And they were right. Reuters report that the book was originally purchased for just a few shillings way back in th 60s or 70s (the family does not remember). Since then, it lay undiscovered on a dusty shelf. But now, a rather bright and glamorous future awaits this book that will be auctioned off at Christie’s to celebrate the edition’s 150th anniversary. The estimated price is between $66,000 and $100,000.

We have reported on the ‘Oasis of the Seas’ before. We are talking about the largest ship in the world. It is owned by Richard D. Fain and costs a whopping $1.4 billion. Well, the good news is that the ‘once-upon-a-time’ concept has finally become a reality. This one is five times bigger than the Titanic. And trust us, that is just the tip of the iceberg for it has space for seven neighbourhoods, an ice rink, a golf course and a 75- seat outdoor amphitheater.
The technical name of the Oasis is NB-1363 and this baby is so tall your neck might just get strained only trying to look at it. Experts say that the boat blends the glitter of Las Vegas with the fantastical edge of Disney.
