Six Senses Hotels Resorts has recently announced the scheduled opening of its Fiji project. The Fiji resort is an addition to the expanding portfolio of Six Senses group. It scheduled to open in 2017 with plenty of pristine beaches, palm trees, turquoise seas, underwater wonders, and the sun. Fiji is a small archipelago in the South Pacific. The latest home of Six Senses Hotels Resorts is sure to take the breath away, owing to the resort location on a beach site on Malolo Island. The resort will feature 66 residential villas and 24 spacious pool villas ranging in size from 74 square meters (800 square feet) to 180 square meters (1,950 square feet). The resort will be located on a private sandy beach that stretches 2,100 feet (650 meters).

The resort will have a restaurant that offers the freshest and finest food sourced from the local farmers, fishermen, markets and its own vegetable garden. It will also have a bar with a tasting table and wine cellar. A Six Senses Spa is planned which will provide guests with wellness treatments that go beyond ordinary. This is because the resort approach is a combination of human touch and high-technology service that centers on the individual.

Six Senses latest project is founded on sustainability, which is reflected within the resort through the proper management of waste, energy, water, chemical usage, biodiversity, and purchasing. The resort is going to be 100 percent solar powered while water will be sourced from a worm based septic system, water reservoirs for rainwater and grey to avoid building a desalination plant. There will also be tree reforestation on site to make up for the wood used in the construction. The resort will also feature LED lights only.

There will also be a clubhouse, kid’s club, and gym in the resort. In addition, the resort will also offer activities such as diving, sailing, snorkeling, boating and tennis.

Six Senses Fiji will also have a full-service marina that is just located next to the resort and will be available for private yachts. The resort is scheduled to open late 2017. Getting there is easy as access is available from Nadi International Airport. From the airport, you will take a 30-minute boat ride from Denaadaru Marina and then a 20-minute seaplane flight or a 30-minute helicopter flight to the resort.
