International Airlines are doing all they can to target the luxury traveler and creating the most luxurious flying experience. A380 provides the space to the airlines to take the luxury to the next level. The first class passengers of Qatar Airways will get their own wardrobe with pockets containing slippers, pyjamas and Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior amenity kits. The section also features two spacious bathrooms where the airline has tried to create a spa like warmth and ambience. The bathroom features a large sink with sensor operated taps. The bathroom has a wardrobe also and it is large enough to act as a changing room.
The first class section is located on the upper deck of the aircraft. In the rear of the deck they have created a lounge and bar which the airline calls ‘a sanctuary in the sky’. The lounge has been designed as an executive club to offer the first class passengers an escape from the typical airplane environment. It boasts of stunning chandeliers and vases full of fresh flowers. The passengers are offered an on-demand, á la carte menu which includes caviar and desserts from luxury French bakery, Laduree. The Airbus A380 can normally accommodate 525 passengers but Qatar has kept it down to 517 passengers only in order to make the first class section ultra luxurious with more space for each passenger. The fare for the round trip between London and Doha for the first class by A380 has been fixed at about £ 4000.
