The 4th Annual Caribbean Food & Wine Festival Will Kick Off on November 6

The 4th Annual Caribbean Food & Wine Festival is scheduled to take place from 6th to the 8th of November, later this year. The much anticipated event will be held over the weekend at the Grace Bay Resorts. Apart from the resort the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board and The Wine Cellar are collaborating partners in the festival. The festival will feature celebrity chefs and vinters from all over the world including Top Chef contestant Chef Leah Cohen from New York’s Pig & Khao. The festival is expected to sell out soon and it will be wise to book tickets now.

Caribbean Food and Wine Festival
In the last three years, the annual event has established itself as a prominent international event. Nikheel Advani, Co-Chair, Caribbean Food & Wine Festival, pointed out that the event provides a platform for chefs and winemakers from around the world to come together with locals for completely unique culinary experiences. It is unlike any other food festival and has made the Turks and Caicos Islands as an epicurean destination in their own right. The festival is growing bigger and more exciting every year. The event, this year, will start with a Welcome Dinner at Blue Haven Resort’s Fire & Ice restaurant. Priced at $125, the dinner is expected to host about 100 guests. It will be a five course meal with select wine pairings.

Final Dinner on the Beach

The next day, the festival will hold a dine around party which is being called the Gourmet Safari dinner party. It will enable the guests to check out local favorites. It will start with fun cocktails at Krave courtesy of Grace Bay Club. The party will move to Coyaba for the appetizer course and finally have the dinner at Seven Stars and The Regent Palms. The party will end at The Gansevoort with dessert. On the final day of the festival the focus would be on wine pairings. There will be several tasting rooms with its own guest chef and winemaker. Subsequently there would be the Island Street Food Fair with lots of tips on grilling and barbeque from the island’s local talent. The festival will end with Dinner with the Stars served on Grace Bay Beach. You could book for a particular dinner individually or simply purchase a package which includes all the activities of the festival for $399.
