Gresso Radical is a Smartphone With Character and a Matching Price Tag

Smartphone has become a large market with new devices being designed and released almost on a daily basis. Most often the higher end brands add on new features to differentiate there phones from the others in the same category or the same price band. But there are brands that add character instead of features to a phone and charge a premium for it. Gresso believes in this approach and has just released yet another Android smartphone which has nothing extraordinary in terms of features or performance but scores in it looks, feel and character. They have used superior craftsmanship to turn a simple phone into an extraordinary one.

The Phone Has Standard Features and Hardware

Called the Gresso Radical, it possesses standard hardware and is similar to many other mid range smartphones in the market. But it is able to differentiate itself from the others because of its character and price. It runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, an unspecified amount of RAM and has 36 GB of storage. It features a 4.5-inch QHD touchscreen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. It only has a rear camera of 8 megapixel. The phone that supports dual sim does not feature the latest Android but Android 4.1. None of the above features qualify it as a superior phone but a standard simple phone and you may literally find hundreds of other models with similar features.

Models With Gold Logo Cost $2,300

This phone is not aimed at the mass market as it is a limited edition design with a production plan of only 999 units. The buyer who would be willing to pay top dollar for this phone is not looking at the hardware specifications at all. They are more concerned about the material used for crafting its body and the superior craftsmanship that goes into its production. The Gresso Radical has a titanium case and titanium sensor keys for buttons. The Gresso logo on the phone has also been finished in hand polished titanium. Putting together a Gresso Radical phone takes a total of nine hours four of which are spent in hand polishing the case to give it the fine brushed metal look. The phone has been priced at $1,800 and you also have the option of having the logo done in 18k white or yellow gold but then the phone will cost you $2,300.
