Four Seasons Maldives Will Organize the Surfing Championship for Third Consecutive Year

The Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy 2013 is approaching and the resort is gearing up for the grand occasion that attracts wave crazy fans from all over the world. Their floating resort, the luxurious Four Seasons Explorer is getting ready to host the contestants. Over the years, Maldives and its group of islands have evolved as the destination of choice for luxury travelers seeking sea, sun and sand. Four Seasons has developed its resort on a private island in Maldives and has successfully organized Surfing Championship for the last two years. This August the Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy will return for its third successive year.

The event has created a niche for itself and is already considered the world’s most luxurious surfing event. Four Seasons collaborates with luxury surf pioneers Tropicsurf of Noosa, Australia to organize this international event. The scope of the event has been expanded this year and it will also include the Four Seasons Maldives Domestic Championship Trophy which will create a platform for displaying the local talent. Six of the former world champions will be battling out this year for the championship trophy and the prize money of $25,000. Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is offering a package for group of surfers. To avail of the benefits of the package you have to book a minimum of four rooms for seven nights.

Guests Will Get Day Passes to Four Seasons Explorer During Championship

The resort is offering all its oceanfront accommodations under the package. They will also offer the services of an expert tropical surf school guide who can ensure that you get the chance to sail to the best breaks of the day. During the Championship guests can get day passes to board the floating resort, the Four Seasons Explorer to watch the competition in awe inspiring surroundings. The two-time world champion, Damien “Dooma” Hardman who has become an Australian surfing legend is expected to return this year to defend his title and claim the prize money. It will be special season at Kuda Huraa both on the water and on the beach at night.
