Most Expensive Motorcycle Took A Year To Make!

The current Guinness World Record for the most expensive motorcycle in the world is held by The MTT Turbine Superbike due to its price tag of $185,000 or £101,000. The superbike ran on a powerful Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine. This particular record was set in 2004.However if the claims of Turkish motorcycle designer, Tarhan Telli are to be believed, he has brought out a motorcycle that will dethrone the previous record holder.

The World Record Academy states that this motorcycle weighs 315 kilograms, has a 1801 cc engine whose capacity is around 125 horsepower. Telli has covered the Chassis and body shell of this bike having 6 forward gearboxes with white and yellow gold leaves. The fuel tank is embossed with a Medussa relief, while the snakes are engraved on the chassis and fender as well. According to its creator, it took almost an entire year to make what is now the most expensive motorcycle in the world.

Another interesting motorcycle was Sylvester Roper‘s steam motorcycle built way back in 1894, that went for auction in Las Vegas last year. A more recent creation was Francois Knorrec’s Laverda Motorcycle with an attached car.
