Victoria Beckham to Transform Her Website Into an Online Fashion Store

Victoria Beckham is also joining the e-commerce bandwagon for her Victoria line, her accessories, eyewear and denim. The fashion world which was initially reluctant to adapt to the modern technology is increasingly opting for the route of technology to sustain and expand their reach and appeal to a new segment of customers. Victoria Beckham is a modern woman and would never like to be left behind. Her site will be digitally overhauled completely and be integrated with the Sellect e-commerce platform. She would be following the Chopard and De Beers model which have proved to be rather successful. Victoria has already made her mark on the fashion world and this new move will help her consolidate her position.

The Store Will Initially Go Live In US, UK and Europe

King & Partners have revamped her site and in its new Avatar it will function as an e-commerce site. A holding page has been put up on the victoriabeckham.com website which is asking the visitors to sign up for brand updates. The site has been transformed into an online fashion store. The store will soon go live in the U.S, U.K and Europe to start with. Johnny Lu and Isaac Lock who are Beckham’s partners have also contributed to the makeover of the site by giving inputs backed by their expertise in the field of art direction. It is expected that the e-commerce part of the site will become fully functional by spring and the new range for the season will become available for purchase.

Victoria-Beckham

The site will be connected to social media and users will be able to share house branded content. Prior to the revamping the Victoria Beckham site served only as an online look book for her collections. Zach Duane, the Chief Executive Officer of Victoria Beckham is very optimistic about the new initiative. He believes that it is the first step for the brand towards creating its own store environment. The digital stores that have come up in the recent past have raised the bar pretty high and any new entrant has to provide an exciting and innovative shopping experience to the customer to create a loyal consumer base. Victoria Beckham has come a long way in the fashion business and her new initiative is bound to give her brand another boost.
