Asda Unveils Mermaid Dress Made from Roses

Asda has unveiled a dress in mermaid cut made from one thousand and seven hundred and twenty five red rose flowers. The stunning strapless gown is one of its kinds for this year’s Valentine’s Day. The time taken to create the gown horticouture was one hundred and seventy hours and weighs under two stone. This has been created by the collaboration of supermarket chain Asda and an award winning florist Joe Massie to encourage the couples for the Valentine’s Day to treat themselves. The designer of mermaid cut dress Joe Massie, 23, is renowned for his artistic designs and is three-time winner of RHS Chelsea Young Florist award. He wished to inspire men and women of the nation to treat loved ones with gorgeous flowers.

The split-legged design in red rose was inspired by the masterpiece of Stephane Rolland earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week. To give perfect finish, three hundred carnations and seventy five gerberas and one hundred and fifty purple power roses have been utilised on the hem.
