This king size and playable version of the portable Scrabble has been designed to be mounted on a wall and carries about five times enhanced width than the original game while guaranteeing to take the immensely famous game to greater heights of fun and learning. The wall mounted scrabble is crafted entirely from wood and this magnificent game replica has been designed by one of the most renowned media artists, John Kahn. This one of a kind scrabble comes with a mind blowing price tag of $12,000, thereby propelling the game to the coveted title of the most expensive Scrabble game. The entire game board has been fabricated from expensive Russian birch plywood and the game features some 3 to 4 feet of birch plywood.
To make the game all the more appealing, Mr. Kahn made use of a charming purple-hued background, which is based upon the same colored background used in the original game. With such delicate materials used in the construction of the world’s largest Scrabble, there had to have enhanced protection for the wall sized game board. The entire game board has been incorporated with a .023-gauge galvanized steel sheet, while the surface of the board has itself been given a heavy vinyl print that is further reinforced with satin laminate. The wall mounted Scrabble comes with a birch frame that measures about 3/4 feet by 2 ½ feet and envelops the entire game board.
