Prada launched 24h Museum in Paris

We have seen fashion labels teaming up with automakers and tech giants to roll out design-sweetened products and cars but this time Prada has chosen a never-seen-before way to digress. It has launched a one-of-a-kind museum designed by Francesco Vezzoli with AMO called the Prada 24h Museum which remained open in Paris only for 24 hours i.e. until today. The museum has three sections which each of them separately encompassing historic, contemporary and forgotten genres. There is a central space which is encased in large metal cage made from frills and neon lights which show off the word of FrancescoVezzoli.

The three sections however conjure together to create a non existing musem where the artist shows his personal tribute to the eternal magnanimity of femininity through classical sculptures. His proficiency is best witnessed through the majestic   sculpture of a female is placed at the top of the stairway, which is also reinterpreted with the features of a mysterious goddess. It is believed that through this museum the designer Francesco Vezzoli is seeking to continue his exploration of reciprocal influences and boundary-breaking in the visual arts, cinema and theatre that he has already worked upon earlier.

The event was an invitation-only dinner and had later turned into a disco-club during late night. It was open to public 7.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. For any connosiuer of art, this was an excellent opportunity to witness such grand forms of art sculptures. This probably inspires other brands from the league from pursuing a different objective when they are trying to break the monotony of ramp shows and designer goods.
