British Airways is known to offer some of the most luxurious spirits on its flights. The airline will soon be adding to its already exclusive menu of fine spirits. The award-winning Drambuie 15 is set to become the newest entrant on the airline’s specially curated menu. From December onwards, the premium aged Scotch whisky liqueur will make its maiden appearance on all British Airways flights.
Who Can Taste The Drambuie 15?
The highly-acclaimed whisky liqueur will be offered as inflight refreshment to passengers traveling first class and business class. However, even economy class passengers can make a bid for this classic malt. Drambuie 15 will also be sold via British Airways’ onboard catalogue, “Highlife Shop”. Interested passengers can purchase one-litre bottles on the flight itself.
About The Drambuie 15
The Drambuie 15 is one of the most luxurious spirits to be made by Drambuie Liqueur Co. Ltd., a family owned firm that has been in the business since 1909. The Drambuie 15 is concocted from the company’s finest 15-year-old Speyside malts. These malts are soft with an intricate flavour and fragrance. They balance out the herbs and spices of Drambuie’s secret recipe.
The British Airways Link
Drambuie’s Global Travel Retail Manager Will Birkin described the new association with British Airways as “a real coup for the brand”. He added that this would serve as encouragement for existing Drambuie customers onboard British Airways flights to trade up to the Drambuie 15.
Additionally, the whisky liqueur is all set to become available across the major airports of the world by January 2012.
