Condo Complex Designed by Porsche Design Features Elevator that Takes Your Car to Your Unit

Porsche Design Group from Germany is known for its exclusive designs. They have the knack of turning an everyday product into a designer product like a hybrid car or even a phone. They are now doing the same to a luxury condo complex. The design company has teamed up with developer Gil Dezer of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida to create a unique and exclusive condo complex in the state. The building has a cylindrical design but it is no ordinary condominium. The highlight of the complex is something that seems to have been picked up from sci-fi novel.

The feature is the first of its kind not only in Florida or the US but in the entire world. The proposed condo complex will be equipped with elevators that will take the residents and their cars straight into their units. This is no ordinary real estate project and has a budget of around $560 million. The proposal has received the go ahead from the Sunny Isles Beach City Commission without any opposition or amendments. The condo complex spread on a 2.2 acre plot will have a total of 132 units.

Each unit will be allotted two or more parking spaces according to their size. The units range from 3,800 to 9,500 square feet in size and can cost you up to $ 9million. The elevators in the complex will also have a robotic arm which is designed to scoop the car onto the elevator carrying the residents to their desired floor right to their front door. The glass elevator will provide dazzling views of the beachfront during the 45 to 90 seconds ride. The complex is bound to become the most prestigious address in Florida.
