A Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is always a big ticket event. And this time model Miranda Kerr is all set to be the big star. As every Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show aficionado already knows, the biggest attraction at the each show is the bejeweled fantasy bra. Each year, one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels is chosen to wear the precious piece of lingerie. Some years it is a gold bra, some years a diamond bra. And this year, it is new mom Miranda Kerr’s turn to wear a bra worth a few million.
It is incredible how these Hollywood celebs and fashion runway stars get back their fab pre-pregnancy bodies so soon after delivery. Kerr gave birth to a baby boy, Flynn, in January this year. And already, she is set to become the star of the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – an event that is scheduled to be held in November.
Kerr’s runway outfit is a Fantasy Treasure Bra worth $2.45 million. Apparently, no fantasy bra has ever been purchased following a Victoria’s Secret runway show. However, the bejeweled creations continue to generate the most buzz. In a recent interview, Kerr described the bra as “stunning”. She also said that it “feels a little mermaid-like”. She added, “I can’t believe I’m wearing $2.5 million on my chest.”
The bling-bling bra has been created by the Long Island-based London Jewelers. Over 3,400 precious stones have been used to adorn this ultra-expensive aqua-colored bra. This includes 142 carats of white and yellow diamonds, pearls, faceted citrines and aquamarines. All this is set on a base of 18-karat white and yellow gold. In the center lie two white diamonds and two yellow diamonds of over 8 carats and over 14 carats each respectively.
