The tourism sector had suffered during the recession. The airlines had felt the pinch because of a severe drop in business travel. But the sector had recovered and luxury travel in particular is witnessing strong demand. A new package has been announced by an Abu Dhabi based travel agency for those who don’t mind paying a little extra to be able to travel in style and comfort. The package offers a round the world tour with visits to ten luxury global destinations by a private jet.
The announcement of the package has been well received and is enjoying high demand. The ‘Around the World by Private Jet’ package floated by Omeir Travel Agency will accommodate 78 passengers on a 22 day tour. The Arabian Business that carried the story about the package reported that the trip would go round the world to ten top luxury destinations. The trip is some time away as it is scheduled to start on October 29 next year from Los Angeles. The itinerary is carefully designed and take the guests to Hawaii, Australia, Bali, Thailand, Taj Mahal, the Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo and finally to London.
The travel Agency is getting a Boeing 757 aircraft configured specially for the trip. The aircraft will feature a spacious cabin with plush interiors, an onboard library and a crew of around sixteen. The travel agency has been witnessing strong demand for high end travel products and has developed this package to meet that demand. Despite the slowdown and the threat of recession the first class travel experiences have retained their appeal. The prices for the Round World trip start from $68,068.
