Gucci for Kids: Is the Company Losing Its Appeal Among Young Adults?

Exclusive Autumn/winter collection of 2011-12 for kids aged two to eight has been launched by Gucci. Much awaited kid wear collection is amazing with variety dresses. The creative director of Italian brand Gucci knows very well the needs of the market than before. All most all the needs of children like shoes, sportswear, formal and casual wears in attractive colours and designs are now available in broad range. Exclusive care is also taken for comforts with inclusion of several designs. The dresses are intuitively created by the fashion house; it is not just a replica of adult in mini-size as designing for kids are not easier. They create clothes to toddlers of zero to twenty four months.

This time the creations are inspired by the British country side moods for kids. For instance knitwear of sports and casual wear, one can find the mood of a British gentleman. In addition to the above mentioned designs, accessories like hand bags, trolley bags, school bags, head band for girls, gloves, scarves made of wool, school uniform, ties for boys are available in varied colours and sizes.

Prominent red-green tricolour band, G monogram, and a new logo of children’s collection include a Teddy Bear, and outfits made of velvet for girls and black leather shoes for boys are in the list. The advertisement is featured by the world famous singer and Jennifer Lopez and her twin kids. Gucci has announced that it would pledge1 Million Dollars to support UNICEF‘s efforts. During Spring/Summer Season of 2011, children collection of Gucci will be available in Gucci boutique throughout world. If Gucci continues to diversify to a kid-centric market, they may lose their young adult consumetrs.
