Santa Barbara Gets Its First Hyatt Hotel With The Transformation Of Hotel Mar Monte


Santa Barbara, considered to be one of the most exciting travel destinations in California and one of the most vibrant cities of the state has now reportedly gotten its very first Hyatt luxury hotel, in the form of the all new Hyatt Santa Barbara. This addition of a magnificent luxury hotel has been accomplished by transforming the 80-year old oceanfront property, Hotel Mar Monte that will now be operated under the Hyatt Santa Barbara banner. This historic hotel had been the foremost attraction for the community and visitors alike for many years and had been undergoing extensive renovation since the month of February this year. The refurbishing project encompassed all guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces of this gorgeous hotel property. Some 92 guest rooms and the hotel lobby were the first to be put through the renovation process that has now been completed just in time for the summer season that also included landscaping and re-decoration of the pool and deck area.

The renovation efforts for the soon to open Hyatt Santa Barbara will resume in the month of October this year, when the project will be extended to renovate the remaining 79 guest rooms and all function space. The completely refurbished luxury hotel property will resume operations in the year 2012 and will exuberate the sense of Spanish Colonial architecture along with every modern convenience imaginable. The all new Hyatt Santa Barbara will be offering its guest 171 lavish and stylish guestrooms that will provide magnificent ocean and mountain views. Furthermore, all the rooms will also feature flat screen HDTV, Hyatt Grand Bed as well as and iHome Stereo with iPod docking stations. Apart from the electronic niceties, the Hyatt Santa Barbara will also provide its guests with luxurious amenities such as an outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, spa and a business center. For those who would prefer a more outdoor experience, the newly renovated luxury hotel will also have the provision of bicycle rentals, winery tours, beach activities, day trips etc. For the patrons of succulent delicacies, Hyatt Santa Barbara will entice their taste buds with its Bistro 1111 restaurant that will serve magnificent dining options and a vast menu for all.
