Ferretti Custom Line Has A New 100-Foot Superyacht: The Desta

The Ferretti Custom Line was expanded this July to include the Custom Line 100. And the new superyacht being added to this line is a fiberglass beauty named Desta. For buyers who love sporty yachts, the Desta is a great choice. The superyacht is sleek, smart, modern, luxurious, yet not overly ostentatious. This Italian style boat is a headturner of a yacht, if ever there were one.

This boat is ideal for smaller get-togethers of family and friends for it can accommodate up to 10 people. The fiberglass walls of the outer dining and lounging area offer a panoramic view of the ocean. The upholstered sofa and modern Italian style armchairs create a cozy mood, without compromising the spacious feel. In fact, most of this luxury yacht gives the impression of being simultaneously intimate yet open. The glass sliding doors in the main saloon are a case in point. They create a sense of openness, increase the sense of spaciousness and yet, have a functional character. The entire yacht gives the impression of being more spacious than regular yachts. Much of this should be attributed to the unusually wide body of this luxury watercraft.

On the saxboard end of the boat, the designers have created the option of folding down much of the area using electronic mechanisms to give rise to an elegant open-air terrace. This area also includes a lounging space. There are chairs designed by Paola Lenti here, while the dining area boasts of a crystal-top table accompanied by seats from Matteo Grassi.

The theme is very modern, yet relaxed and easy. The interiors are done up in a range of light, relaxed colors. There are lots of pale creams and light grey. Even the materials – wood, leather, stone, fabrics – all boast of light natural tones. The occasional cushions and plants provide touches of brighter color. The interiors of the Desta receive plenty of natural light, which adds to the impression of spaciousness.

This contemporary interior design is carried on throughout the rest of this luxury yacht. A darker palette dominates the master cabin for the owners. Designing the master cabin right makes a world of a difference. After all, the yacht owners want to feel special. The designers behind Desta have left no stone unturned to ensure that the owners have a luxurious experience on board their own yacht. Thus, the master cabin is very spacious. It includes an en suite bathrrom and a desk area. But not only that, the master cabin is roomy enough to house a walk-in closet as well.

The guest cabins stand on the lower deck. Together, these can accommodate eight people. Additionally, each guest cabin has an en suite bathroom and offers plenty of storage space. Of these, two are VIP cabins. These have large showering areas and offer fantastic views. The crew areas are located in the bow end of the lower deck.

The helm station is on a raised platform to ensure the best visibility. On the upper deck, you will also find an extra lounging space as well as a dining area. And there are also large sunbeds for guests who want to laze under the sunny skies.
