Alexander Wang Ties Up with eBay for Flash Sales of his Accessories

Luxury brands and designers are increasingly taking the flash sales route to boost their sales. Slowly but surely the designer stuff are finding their way to the flash sales sites even before they occupy the shelves of physical stores. Last week, Alexander Wang launched his very own exclusive 72-hour spring ready-to-wear and accessories sale online. If you were not lucky enough to get the mail and missed the opportunity, don’t be disheartened as you will get another chance on Friday to shop for the latest and greatest Wang accessories even before they reach the stores in July.

Alexander Wang managed to steal some spotlight from the top flash sales site like the Gilt Groupe and Rue LaLa. Wang has been in the spotlight lately as he recently won the CFDA Award for Accessory Designer of the year. There has been a lot of hype about him and all the stuff he has designed. He entered into a partnership with eBay Fashion Vault to release a limited edition collection of his super hyped small leather goods for Fall 2011.

The sale will have a wide range of articles including luxe wallets, coin purses and travel cases in rich shades and shiny metallics. All items have been priced between $235 and $525. The sale on eBay Fashion Vault will begin Friday the 17th of June at 12 am Eastern time. This sale will last for 24 hours only. Wang’s accessories are bound to be the rage in the coming season and it is good that he has tied up with eBay. It has a wide reach and will ensure that the accessories reach far and wide in double quick time.
