Bali’s First Destination Villa Istana is Up for Sale

Istana is one of Indonesia’s most iconic private villas and recently the Island Magazine rated the Istana as the third best Island Villa in the world. There is an opportunity for you to actually own it as it has hit the market and is up for sale. It is villas like Istana that have created Bali’s reputation as a must-stop destination on the international jet-set circuit. Its majestic cliff-top position and unique architecture routinely places it in the Top ten Villas lists released by the luxury travel magazines.

The Istana was Bali’s first destination villa and was designed by renowned Australia-based French architect Fredo Taffin. He consciously broke away from the traditional Balinese architecture and started a trend in Bali resort architecture. The perfect symmetry of the design maximizes the spectacular ocean views. The villa was designed to offer world-class amenities and the highest level of service. It has opulent entertaining and dedicated private areas. It has vast children’s room and games room that makes it popular with the families. Its large manicured lawn and extensive service areas make it an ideal venue for weddings and large family gatherings.

The main swimming pool on the estate is 32 meters long. The master bedroom suite is an independent separate structure with its own infinity edge pool. The suite is spread over 120 square meters. Istana is both a sound commercial investment and a treasured holiday retreat. It is currently being operated and marketed by BHM Villas, a member of the Elite Havens Group, which specializes in the operational management and marketing of luxury villas in Bali. They have stationed a western chef in the villa’s restaurant grade kitchen. The villa also has four butlers, two drivers, two masseuse and spa staff and countless housekeeping and maintenance people and round-the-clock security team.
Istana, which was built in 2002 was extensively renovated and upgraded in 2007 by Grey Fell. Elite Havens in association with Knight Frank is representing Istana for sale.
