Starwood Hotels & Resorts To Resurrect The Famous Westin Resort & Spa Playa Conchal, Costa Rica


One of the foremost and most alluring of all tourist destinations, Costa Rica, is now all set to get an all new reason to smile as far as tourism is concerned. Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a premier hotel chain has now announced its plans of resurrecting the famous Westin Resort & Spa Playa Conchal in Costa Rica. Located adjacent to the championship Robert Trent Jones II golf facility, this marvelous new luxury resort will feature some of the most luxurious services and amenities and will also be Starwood’s first ever all-inclusive resort. The Westin Resort & Spa Playa Conchal was previously featured as one of the top international golf resorts in the year 2010 by the highly reputed Condé Nast Traveler Magazine. As per the plans, Starwood will be conducting extensive renovation and improvement programs on the resort throughout the month of December this year.

During the re-development project, Starwood will most likely retain the lagoon-style pool of the Westin Resort & Spa Playa Conchal that has been one of the principal attractions of this luxury golf resort. However, as per Starwood tradition, the new hotel property will feature a signature Westin The Spa wellness facility, as well as a WestinWORKOUT gym along with various restaurants that will primarily focus on local and international cuisines. Since, much of the global population is still recovering from the effects of the 2009 recession, all-inclusive resorts are now getting increasingly popular where in the guest not only enjoy a luxurious stay, but their packages are also comprised of meals and drinks.
