If golf is your passion, and you have the moolah, here is a unique publication that will bring a big smile to your face. Wonderland Publications has come up with a Luxury Golf Folio targeting golf nuts all over the world. There is a super-expensive Luxury Edition that costs a whopping $48,000 and a lower priced Collector Edition costing $630.
This is basically a golf portfolio that uses art to relate the history of the much-loved sport. Inside, you will also find contributions from over 50 golf experts. The $48,000 edition is not only exorbitantly priced, but it is also a tad difficult to carry around. What else can you expect when the book measures in at 3 feet wide, 18 inches tall, 5 inches thick and weighing a whopping 82 pounds. The 140-page book features 18 beautifully put together chapters.
The book is entirely handmade. The paper used has been torn by hand, and the pages have been bound into a rare Russian Hide leather cover that is 400 years old. Look out for ornate gold blocking and gold furnishings. The design in this case has been inspired by a Bible belonging to the 14th century.
Only ten units of this limited edition luxury Golf Bible will be available. They will come with signatures of the artists and Colin Montgomerie. The Folio will be placed in an oak slipcase box. Meanwhile, there are 2,100 units of the Collector Edition. But golf books are not for everyone. So if you are not a bookworm but love golf, there are still plenty of luxury golf items on offer.
