Advertising Campaign Series for Magnum ice Cream Directed by Karl Lagerfeld to Premiere in April

After starring in the BMW ad film, Karl Lagerfeld is back to directing films. The latest film he has made is for Magnum ice cream’s advertising campaign. American actress Rachel Bilson is starring in the films made in three parts and plays a different role in each one of them. The three part series will be premiered on April 21st during the Tribeca Film Festival for the debut of an original film series.

If you are unable to visit the Tribeca Film Festival, you can visit Magnum’s Facebook page which will have a simultaneous release of the film series along with the premiere at the festival. Each of the film in the series features Rachel Bilson in a different scenario unwinding with a Magnum ice cream bar. Photo Mood is the first of the series where Rachel is an annoyed famous model who finds pleasure in a delicious Magnum ice cream bar.

In Applause Rachel plays a world renowned prima ballerina who evades her fans and boy friend, played by Baptiste Giabiconi, to savor and enjoy a Magnum bar. The last of the series is Art Class Rachel plays an art student obsessed by the Magnum ice cream bar. Karl Lagerfeld has also shot for the print  ad campaign which will be launched from the May issue of major publications.
