Luxury House in Manhattan Creates a record for the Most Expensive Listing at $90 Million

Manhattan has just registered its most expensive listing for $90million. The luxury house is a 35 feet wide townhouse situated at 4 East 80th Street. The listing for the luxury house is being handled by the super broker Paula Del Nunzio and she will bring all her power and skill to close a deal for the asking price. The townhouse spread over 18,000 square feet has ten bedrooms and 11.5 bathrooms along with three kitchens.

Lucille Roberts, the late gym mogul had purchased this luxury house in 1995 for $6 million. Her family has factored in the appreciation in value over a quarter of a century. The landmark house has some history attached to it but the owners claim there is no premium attached to the price for that. Though interested buyers would obviously like to know what they would get for $90 million.

The luxury house boasts of a 35 feet wide library, a wet bar and a powder room combo on the third floor. The fourth floor has a gym, a master suite with two sitting rooms and a staff suite. Paula Del Nunzio explains the reason behind the highest ever listing in Manhattan. This is the only mansion available that has been extensively renovated in a pre war style. All the other great mansions sold in New York were basically shells that required substantial investment in renovation to make them livable. It is rare to find such a magnificent building in this condition in the market.
