Lloyds Auctioneers put Large Number of Luxury Ralph Lauren Furniture Under Hammer

Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers at Carrara put a large number of Ralph Lauren luxury furniture under the hammer. We normally get the opportunity to bid for one or two pieces of furniture at an auction but this was a unique opportunity to go for furniture for the entire house. A mystery buyer bought $500,000 worth of Ralph Lauren luxury furniture for as little as $40,000. The buyer did not want to be identified but was one of about 100 participants in the event.

A three piece Ralph Lauren Beekman china cabinet went for $14,600 but must have been originally bought for almost $50,000. A 11 piece Ralph Lauren dining suite went for as little as $7,000. Lloyds had managed to get the entire collection from the collapsed estate of a Tallai man. Auctioneer Scott Webber was proud to be able to bring so many exquisite Ralph Lauren luxury pieces under the hammer at one event.

The previous owner of the furniture must have taken good care of them as they all seemed to be in very good condition. Some participants hesitated to pick up beautiful pieces as it would not fit into their homes. Though a king sized bed with leather head and foot boards, which sold for $4500. Edwardian camelback lounges went for $3,400. In the end the auctioneer was happy with the final result and satisfied with the prices received.
