The hotel has been named the city’s only AAA Five Diamond Hotel. The mew look hotel was under extensive renovation for the last three years. The renovation project cost a total of $25 million.
The guest rooms were completely restyled. The swimming pool area has been developed in resort style and the hotel boasts of an ultra modern lobby post renovation. The hotel has been awarded the exclusive ranking for its sophisticated and artfully designed setting and the service that goes above and beyond the expectations of the guests. The new pool, which cost $4 million to develop, is downtown’s only outdoor, resort-style pool.
The entire pool area has been developed by creating cabana-style patios, a trellis-covered event space, soothing water wall, hot tub, fire pit and poolside bar. Artful lighting has been fitted into the pool that glows at night. Lush tropical plants have been used to make the area green. BAMO, the design firm from Francisco has been credited with creating custom design furniture that has given a completely new look to the guest rooms and other common spaces of the hotel.
