Hollywood Celebrities Get Paid to Wear Jewelry and You Could Die of Jealousy

When I was young, all I ever wanted to do was buy expensive clothes. Now that I am a has-been, I still want to buy those expensive clothes all the more in the hopes of looking younger. Alas, I can never seem to afford them. However, celebrities not only can afford to buy great clothes and jewellery, but apparently they even get paid to wear those glittering jewellery and be seen at the right places!

Anne Hathaway reportedly was paid $750,000 by Tiffany & Co for wearing the company’s jewellery to the Oscars, while she co-hosted. Gwyneth Paltrow was paid $500,000 to wear earrings, a brooch and ring from Louis Vuitton’s “L’Ame du Voyage” collection.

Paltrow, Hathaway, Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. have claimed that these are rumours, but I wouldn’t be surprised if these lucky bitc*es actually get paid to wear amazing clothes. I guess that is what is called life. Those who deserve it crave for it all along and get old and turn into unglamorous has-beens, while the ones who don’t really need it actually get paid to wear them for just a few hours. Cruel, cruel world.

Meanwhile, the losers at the Oscars got bags worth $75,000. You could also read about other Hollywood bags.

Well, it is very good advertising. I have read somewhere that earrings that Natalie Portman was wearing to the Oscars have been sold out the next day. So, I guess for companies is more profitable to “convince” celebrities to wear their products than to blow huge budgets on TV commercials which people usually skip.
