Quispamsis Home makes it to the Cover Page of the prestigious DuPont REGISTRY

The beautiful Quispamsis home that you see in the picture above has been chosen to feature on the cover of duPont REGISTRY’s April cover. The open-concept, lodge-style home, located on Model Farm Road, nestled between tall trees sits at the Kennebecasis River’s edge. The entry was submitted by Katherine Bacon of Prudential Real Estate, who also holds the listing on this house, which is being sold for $889,000.

She sure is happy to be selected as the competition is tough, coming from all over North America, with agents from big towns vying for the cover spot. This 4,200-square-foot home does not impress at the first glance, but once you open the door, you are welcomed by 35-foot ceilings, river views through massive windows, a beach-stone fireplace, four bedrooms, a wine cellar, a balcony library and hand-crafted wrought-iron railings that immediately make you go Wow!

Bacon says that this house gives potential buyers an idea of what waits in store for them in the province as most of the times they are sceptical of the standard of homes that are available there. This house was made 11 years ago and had been on the market since late summer of 2010. Well after seeing this picture readers will definitely never question the standard of homes in Quispamsis.
