Fresh from writing about the Travel + Living Design Awards, I was pleased to see a new product that can add style and practicality to every vacation. The new Damier Aventure Practical from Louis Vuitton is the perfect travelling companion for a jet-setter who loves to travel in style.
One look at the Damier Aventure Practical and you will be sold. Super light nylon fabric is the primary material used to create this travelling bag. Adding to the effect are silver-colour zipper pulls, trims of calfskin leather and plastic hardware. If you prize spaciousness over all other things, you will not be disappointed. There are two pockets each on the outside and on the inside to help you segregate your travel gear.
Also, the bag is easy on the shoulders and hands. An adjustable shoulder strap plus patches of fabric of the handles make lugging this bag around that much easier. What is even better is that the Damier Aventure Practical can be folded up and slipped into its inner pocket. Then you can tuck this away with the rest of your luggage, without the headache of an empty bag to carry around. Or you can put it to use in its pouch pocket avatar.
The big checks give it a fun feel. Apparently, Louis Vuitton’s designers have created this bag with clothes from the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2011 ready-to-wear collection playing inspiration.
Available in two colours, Bleu and Graphite, the $1,070 Damier Aventure Practical measures 23.2″ x 11.8″ x 11.8″. The bag should start retailing from Louis Vuitton outlets by this week.
