The Heart Truth Campaign Adds Swarovski Dress And Necklace To Its Collection

It is that time of year again. And what better way to express your heart’s desires than through a custom-designed Swarovski red dress and a heart-themed neckpiece? Get set to be amazed by this cracker of a dress and necklace duo that is due to make its maiden appearance at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at New York City on 9 February. Modelling the set on the runway will be blonde bombshell and “Dancing with the Stars” champion Julianne Hough.

However, this scarlet dress and necklace pair is not just another fashion stopper. It is attached to a more serious cause. It is part of the Heart Truth campaign, which works to spread awareness about heart disease among women. Heart Truth is a national level awareness campaign within the United States, which counts the National Lung, Health and Blood Institute as one of its sponsors. Heart Truth’s red dress symbolises the need for women to take care of their heart.

The red dress that Hough will be sporting at the fashion week in the Big Apple is part of Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection. It took 150 hours to put together the dazzling dress and the heart-themed neckpiece. The neckpiece comprises some 10,000 Swarovski crystals. Swarovski Creative Director, Nathalie Colin, has designed both the dress and the necklace.

The madness over Valentine’s Day has already begun. In the midst of all that, it is nice to see the innovative way in which this awareness campaign is getting to the “heart” of the matter.
