New Line of Beatles Pens to Revive the Beatlemania

The Beatlemania refuses to die down even forty years after the group disbanded. It is perhaps the addition of the Beatles catalog to iTunes that has renewed the interest in their music and given Beatlemania a new lease of life. Acme Studio the renowned accessories maker has stepped into the game and signed a new deal with Apple Records and The Beatles. They have been creating pens, mirrors, business card holders and more.

The new line as a result of the latest deal will include pens, watches, business card cases and eyeglass cases. But the articles under this deal will take a few months in actually hitting the market. The first designs under the new series are expected to be released in May 2011. There will be pens corresponding to each year the band was together, that is, 1962 to 1070. There will be13 limited edition pen and business card case sets for all of their UK album covers.

The most expensive item in this new Beatles line is going to be a four pen set, one pen representing each member of the band. The pens will consist of interchangeable roller ball, felt tip, fountain pen and ball point pen. Only 600 pieces of this limited edition set will be produced. This exclusive set will be available for retail at the Unica Home for a price of $450.
