The World’s Highest Restaurant has Prices to Match its Height

It seems Atmosphere, the world’s highest restaurant is not just steep in its height, but also in terms of its prices. Patrons will have to pay atleast AED450 ($122) a head to have a meal at this restaurant at the Burj Khalifa towers. Located at the height of 442m. the restaurant opened its doors this Sunday. To book a place at the dining area, guests will have to pay AED650 ($176.9) per head, while afternoon tea comes in at nearly $100 (AED350).

Drinks and snacks in the lounge area come a little cheaper at AED200 ($54.45) per head. And there is no dearth of people who are willing to shell out this much cash to have a memorable meal at this posh restaurant. Marc Dardenne, CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels & Resorts said that this place will give the tourists something special to see in Dubai.

He also expressed his optimism about a steady flow of guests to this restaurant considering the great success of its opening, which saw many people trying to book tables for the first night. The restaurant isn’t very big with just 80 seats plus some more in the lounge area. But that just adds to its exclusivity. We hope the new restaurant reaches the peak of success equalling its height.
