Touche Eclat is the name given to the multi functional makeup pen by Yves Saint Laurent. The product has been created with affluent consumers in mind. They have taken up a series of initiatives to promote the product and the latest amongst them is an iPhone application that is aimed at an affluent target audience. The application gives advice to consumers on how to use the multifunctional pen. In addition it has multimedia content and a quiz.

The application is available for free in Apple’s App Store. The application hopes to engage the consumer because that is the key element in retaining the consumer and making him loyal to the product and the brand.
