Lord Sugar Acquires a New Embraer Legacy 650 Jet for £18.5 Million

How many hours of flying do you do on an average in a year? If you are Lord Sugar of The Apprentice fame, you could be logging in over 300 hours a year. It works out to almost an hour a day. If you are not a professional pilot, it is a lot. If Lord Sugar had to fly commercial he would be spending all his time at the airports. But he loves traveling private and has recently acquired a 13-seat Embraer Legacy 650 private jet. The 63-year-old tycoon lately announced the same on Twitter and has uploaded the photographs of the jet on his Facebook profile.

The luxury jet features three cabin areas and a large bathroom, high speed broadband, leather chairs and a high-end entertainment system. Lord Sugar has christened his new jet “G-Suga.” He is happy about the luxury he can afford as standing around airports for checking and security checks gets on his nerves.

Lord Sugar already owns a Legacy 600 jet worth around £15 million and a number of luxury cars, including a Range Rover, a Bentley and a Ferrari. The star of BBC1’s “The Apprentice” has a pilot’s license and will definitely love to fly his new jet.
