The demand for luxury brands and products has been increasing but very often it does not get the proper channel to reach the consumer. The luxury brands need the right location, proper space and the right ambiance to give the customer the shopping experience he or she expects. Woollahra shopping precinct has not only grown in size but in quality also to become the right location for luxury brands. Vendôme Woollahra will be opening later this month and bring luxury brands under one roof.
Brands represented include DeWitt, Maîtres du Temps, Hautlence, Franc Villa and Romain Jérôme. Jewellery from Boucheron includes a bespoke engagement and wedding ring service, and a selection of Boucheron watches. Globe-Trotter and Henk luggage, Puredistance perfume, Roland Iten accessories and the exclusive Vertu cellphones will also be available from Vendôme Woollahra. In short, all the haute brands in Australia.
The name of the shop does sound unusual for an Australian store. It has been borrowed from the location of the original Boucheron store on the Place Vendôme in Paris and its location in Woollahra, Sydney on the corner of Jersey and Moncur Streets. It is a new concept for Australian luxury retail and will definitely get a boost when it opens.
