“Obama Winter Estate” Changes Hands for Scaled Down $6.9 Million

Paradise Point Estates LLC has recently bought one of O’ahu’s most popular luxury beachfront residences situated in the upscale town of Kailua for a whopping $6.9 million. The residence which is situated on a 4.5acre lot is a popular vacation property and had become more famous because it was rented by President Obama in 2008 and 2009 for his family’s annual Christmas vacation. In fact the property has become popular as the “Obama Winter Estate”. Even then the price had to be scaled down from the original listing price of $7.95 million.

The property is a beautiful 4,900-square-foot single-story residence that boasts the very best in luxury accommodations that the islands have to offer. The ultra luxurious feel and serene resort like environment has made it the first choice of the world’s elite. The features of the residence are many including a state of the art media room, hot tub spa, lagoon styled pool, landscaping with eight waterfalls and beachfront access to one of O`ahu’s premiere beaches.

The property was originally built in 1934 as apart of the original Harold K L Castle Estate. It had changed hands in 2003 for $9 million and was renovated in 2005. The residence is rented for $24,500 per week and it is worth that price as it provides you with luxury, style and privacy.
