Ritz-Carlton Enters Israel With a Project in Herzliya

Ritz-Carlton, the luxury hotel chain, is getting into Israel for the first time. They have chosen Herzliya, just north of Tel Aviv to launch their first venture in Israel. The property is located on the Mediterranean Sea. It is being hailed as the first kosher Ritz-Carlton. Since it is their first in the country, the hotel chain has got some of the best talent in the industry to plan, design and execute the project.

The project is being developed by the Tidhar group and Adi’s marina. The total investment planned for the project is in the range of $160 million. Rani Ziss, the architect who worked on the renovation of the Plaza in New York City has designed this new project. Studio Gaia, a New York based interior design fir has been signed on for creating an elegant, comfortable and luxurious seaside retreat.

The property overlooks the Haerzliya Marina and will have about 80 luxury vacation residences ranging from studios to large penthouses. The owners of these residences will be able to avail all the 5 star facilities and amenities of the hotel. These amenities will include rooftop outdoor pool, spa and fitness centre. The project which will be fitted with Shabbat elevators, is expected to be completed in 2012 for a grand inauguration.
