Rocker Fred Durst’s House in Bel-Air, Los Angeles Listed for $6.2 million

The Big Time Listings has reported the listing of a house in Los Angeles’ Bel Air neighbourhood with some rocking history. The 6,624 square foot house was originally built for Doors guitarist Robby Kreiger. The house was later owned for a year by rocker Fred Durst. The guy who bought the house from Frd has put it on the market on March 8th. Fred was unable to make a fat profit from this house as he bought it in the summer of 2001 through his Daily Boy Trust for $3.48 million and sold it a year later in 2002 for $3.7 million.

The house is situated at 461, Bellagio Terrace in Bel-Air. According to the public records and the listing information, the house has four bedrooms and four and a half baths. The listed house has a cook’s kitchen and predictably state of the art lighting and stereo systems. The other featyre of the house are an outdoor bar and a courtyard pool/spa. The pocket doors from most of the rooms lead to this courtyard.

The architectural style of the property is a mix of John Lautner and Frank Lloyd Wright. The flag lot on which this gated property has been built is situated on a knoll. The location of the house gives it the views from the Getty Museum to the Pacific Ocean. The listing has been done for $6.2 million.
