Old Mills Farm, a 75 acre Greenwich estate owned by Mel Gibson was sold in April after spending three years on the market. It was listed originally for $39.5 million back in 2007. The price was later scaled down to $29.75 million. But finally the home was sold for a price of $24 million. Mel Gibson had bought the estate in 1994 for $9.3 million.
Cosette Property LLC are the new owners of the estate according to the town records. It seems to be a front for a buyer who does not want to make his identity public. The buying company lists Tommy Hilfiger as its principal. The property was listed in April for $33 million. Hilfiger had sold another Greenwich home last fall for $20 million. It was listed way back in 2008 for $27.9 million.
