Louis Vuitton takes inspiration from tattoos

Louis Vuitton keeps on innovating. This time they have taken recourse to the very popular art of tattoos. The man who has become the muse for the fashion house is Scott Campbell. The man is really lucky to have worked for the great designer Marc Jacobs who has been one of the most amazing designers that has taken the creative control of the company.

So this guy, who happens to be based in New York, has been given the responsibility of presenting the LV SS11 menswear in the fashion capital of Paris. That is not all. The guys at LV were so impressed by Campbell’s creativity that they have also asked him to tattoo the iconic LV symbol on the models walking the ramp for their show. LV has tried to channelize his creativity into their very famous and status symbol like bags.

He has also customised some of the LV bags with his tattoo designs. I must say the result is pretty cool. I think they will attract the LV customers who like their accessories to stand out, and prefer the more avant garde styles, as compared to the more traditional designs. Well, the man surely has let his creativity flow!
