Audi A5 Sportback up for Grabs at Australia’s Sailing Regatta

The 27th edition of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week to be held this year between August 20 to 28 has a very rich and impressive prize of Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Sportback, valued at more than $80,000 on the road. Audi the major sponsors of the regatta has announced that all teams will be eligible to win. The A5 will be awarded to one of the division winners at Race Week. The actual recipient of the prize will be decided at the Audi “Final Challenge” which will be staged on Hamilton Island’s airport on the Lay Day, Tuesday 24th of August 2010.

The Final Challenge is a contest within a contest. It is a test of cunning and consistency- and the yacht owner who delivers the best result in this unique driving event  will take home the Audi A5 Sportback with an award-winning 2.0 TFSI engine, Quattro permanent all wheel drive and an S tronic dual-clutch sports transmission. The Final Challenge will be conducted in Audi’s  S5 Sportback model which has been released  in Australia in late June 2010. Audi is the fastest growing premium carmaker down under.

Audi had launched their A5 Sportback in Australia in February 2010 and was an instant hit in the market. Buyers appreciated the combination of coupe-like design , 5-door versatility with large cargo area, stylish and ample seating for 4 adults and exceptional fuel efficiency at 7.5 liters/100km. Audi is planning the Australian launch of their latest A8 luxury limousine at Australia’s premier sailing regatta.
