House of Waterford Crystal on the Mall is located in Ireland, in a place called Waterford City. The new facility would be equipped with an amazing manufacturing facility, visitor centre and a retail store. The company’s plant at Kilbarry shut down 18 months ago, and the new one would create 100 new jobs.
The plant would create crystals that would surpass many quality standards. Right now, the beautiful crystals are manufactured in Central and Eastern Europe. However, with the new plant, one could see crystals being manufactured in Ireland. WWRD Holdings Limited and Waterford City Council would be handling the project jointly. Waterford Crystal, Wedgwood and Royal Doulton brands are operated by WWRD Holdings Limited.
The factory would be located 2 miles away from the city centre. It is located in the classy N25 Cork Road in Waterford, Ireland. There would also be factory tours for those who are interested and there are also guided tours available. Thus, it could be a great idea to go ahead and visit the factory before things get busier. So, this is something to look forward to for the Irish.
