Mykita and Bernhard Willhelm Toss out 24 Karat FRANZ Limited Edition Sunglasses.

Mykita has had enough fame and global appreciation up its sleeves for giving the world a sumptuous collection of designer optical eyewear and sunglasses. To add an exclusive touch of design to its sunglasses, the company teamed up with top-notch designer Bernhard Willhelm and tossed out FRANZ 24k Limited Edition.

The metal aviator sunglasses come with flash mirrored golden sun lenses coated n 24 karat gold. Mykita is offering two versions of these designer glasses, the gold and black rimmed ones. The shape is organically designed to compliment Willhelm’s winter Collection which draws inspiration from 1976 Olympics. A little research also tells me these glasses are named after 1976 Austrian downhill skiing Winter Olympics winner Franz Klammer.

FRANZ 24k Sunglasses seem to be running a limited number which is why they would be shipping in specially designed case which is going to be hand-numbered. A certificate of authenticity would also come along to continually remind you that these more than just a pair of sunglasses. It is available for a whopping price tag of $775.
