The green and gorgeous home in Hawai

The trend these days is to go green. And Green homes are obviously following. And the great thing about the contemporary green homes is that they don’t have to compromise on the other comfort features. Take for example this luxury house in Diamond Head State Monument in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is big and beautiful.

This 4,800 square-foot human habitat is the creation of Longhouse Development, LLC and Long & Associates Architects. This green house has a green roof, which means that it is covered with solar panels with 4.6 kW solar photovoltaic arrays. The appliances around the house are energy efficient, the flooring is made of bamboo, and there are low-flow water fixtures, low-VOC paints, CFL tubes for lighting, FSC wood doors and cabinets, and even an integrated solar geyser!  The house also comes with a wine room, a pool, and an open lanai area.

The look of this house is stunning both from inside and outside. Quality has definitely not been compromised on this one. Some rich guy who is interested can now get it at a cheaper rate of $5,988,000 as compared to the earlier $6,680,000. Its green, its gorgeous, and if you need the address, it is 3927 Kahala Avenue.
