Terlato Wines release a new line of wines named after the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus

Terlato Wines have released a new line of wines named after the golf- legend Jack Nicklaus. The Nicklaus branded wines include the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2007 Private Reserve, which is similar to the Bordeaux blend. These wines will make their debut the Memorial Tournament hosted by the one and only Jack Nicklaus. The event will take place at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio between June3 to June6.

The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon uses premium parcels of fruits that were extracted from the Rutherford district in the famous Napa Valley. The Private Reserve on the other hand is made from grapes that were taken from selected sited in Stags Leap. 500 cases of each wine have been produced and will be retailed for $35 (Cabernet) and $43 (Private Reserve).

Nicklaus, who happens to be a long-time wine collector, went with his sons JackII and Gary to meet the owner of the Terlato vineyards, Anthony Terlato and his sons Bill and John. This meeting resulted in the creation of these special wines, which join the long list of golfer wines, which include big names such as Arnold Palmer, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman. One can buy these wines online at www.uncorked.com or at premier golf clubs and resorts all over the United States.
