Talking about the fragrance, Thierry Mugler said, “Womanity” is a perfume conceived as a link, a positive energy flowing through all types of femininity.” To enlarge that link, they started the website www.womanity.com for the women of the world to connect better.
It is meant to be a creative exchange platform for women who also contribute in the development of the company and designer’s beauty products. Considering that over 1,078,461 people have visited the site since its launch, the site sure seems to be quite popular. “Sharing in what women feel and in their understanding of what femininity means is an immense opportunity and a privileged source of information for a luxury brand like Thierry Mugler,” said the company president Joel Palix.
The fragrance is supposed to be one of its kind, as it contains both sweet and savoury notes, a result of the pairing of fig and caviar. The fragrance is also supposed to be environmentally friendly as its production and packaging was done in a way that minimised its environmental impact. The fragrance will come out this summer and will also be accompanied by a “Woman & Beauty” line, with natural fig extracts to nurture your skin.
