Wouldnt it be nice if we could all have a Lamborghini. But alas! The $200,000 mean machines are out of reach for most of us. But fret not. Lamborghini has come up with jackets, hoddies and coffee mugs that are within our reach. It has opened its third retail shop in the world in Vancouver, others located in Beijing and Los Angeles.
People like to associate with luxury brands even if it is in a small way. Ferrari has already realized that and is reaping the benifits from its sale of Ferrari accessories. Now Lamborghini has taken notice. “If you’re a luxury brand there is always the opportunity to sell even outside the core business,” says Stephan Winkelmann, president of Automobili Lamborghini.
“It’s all about emotions; it’s about fulfilling dreams and we have even the duty to do something to let the people feel part of this world of Lamborghini,” he says. “There’s at most a few brands that have this opportunity and we are among them.” Let us hope that they diversify their accessories range and open more stores in more countries.
