MB&F – Maximilian Büsser & Friends have launched their cool new Horological Machine called the No 3 Frog. The Frog is based on last year’s HM3 Sidewinder & Starcruiser and comes with an alternative design that teases the conventional designers. Only 12 pieces in black titanium and 20 pieces of a non-limited titanium version would be released this year.
The black titanium edition would come with a green gold rotor and the non-limited titanium version would come with a blue gold rotor. The Frog comes with bulbous domes that are reminiscent of a frog’s eyes. The Three-dimensional Horological engine designed by Jean-Marc and the Girard-Perregaux oscillator and gear are some of the other highlights of this wonderful watch.
The 22K blued rose gold battle-axe shaped ‘mystery’ automatic winding rotor adds a lot of glamour to the Frog whereas anti-reflective treatment to the domes and faces are just wonderful.
You could also enjoy a Black hand-stitched alligator with 18K white gold & titanium custom designed deployment buckle. The total number of components in the case are 304 for the movement and there are 36 jewels in all. There is no information about the price as of now.
