Magic Hole Chair Collection Brings Philipe Starck Back On The Scene

Surprise, surprise! And we were naive enough to believe Philipe Starck when he said that ‘design is dead’ and he has ‘plans to retire’. The latest finding reveals that the renowned designer is far from the two claims. Starck surprised one and all by unveiling his latest design creation at the much reverred Milan Design Week. Dubbed the Magic Hole Chair Collection, this one is an impressive series which looks as great as it is functional.

The Magic Hole Chair Collection really translates into an armchair, a two seater sofa and a smaller table front armchair. All these chairs are meant to be kept outdoors and might we add that the bright orange pocket or hole is not incidental for it can hold objects like newspapers, magazines and other knick-knacks..

Starck has used the most advanced materials to make the latest collection. Apparently, he has crafted this classy furniture from shock resistant and weather proof materials. The bright orange ‘magic hole’ on each unit will definitely add a unique touch as well as exclusiveness to your decor. It does make a rather dramatic statement that would be hard to imitate.
